Meet Kelly and Tara

“We are Vic Falls “kids” born and raised in Victoria Falls and we decided it was time to put our knowledge and expertise together to showcase our stunning little corner of the world. We are both very passionate about our home town, as well as all that Zimbabwe has to offer. We want to help you plan an unforgettable holiday.  The unbelievable wildlife, beautiful scenery and wonderful people will make you fall in love with this bucket-list destination and have you coming back over and over again.”

Kelly grew up in a safari family and has worked in tourism for more than 20 years. She has watched the small resort town of Victoria falls grow and change throughout the years into the bustling tourist hub it is today.  She is married to Ross, a passionate Safari guide and is a mum of two.  Her warm, friendly, accommodating and outgoing character will make you feel welcome and taken care of from the moment you make contact and throughout your journey.

Tara grew up on a wildlife concession just outside Victoria Falls and, as a child, explored so much of the area on horseback.  She is passionate about wildlife conservation and sustainable tourism and wants to be a part of making a difference in our world (especially in Zimbabwe). Tara is married and is a mum of one.  Having been based abroad, always longing to return home, she is thrilled to be settled back in her home town, Victoria Falls and is super excited to share it with you – with her passionate, on-the-ground, local support.

We are about everything Victoria Falls and Zimbabwe and we want to share it with you – all the hidden gems, the wild spaces, the animals, the sunshine and the friendliest people on the planet.  Come and visit us!  All you need to do now is to get in touch.

Charities we support

“Doing good for other souls is not a duty, it is a joy!”

Victoria Falls Children’s Trust

This is a wonderful charity that pays school fees for orphans and children from vulnerable families in and around Victoria Falls.  The trust funds the school fees for 50 families (sometimes including 2 or 3 children in a family).  The main focus is finding ways to help the children get access to education, as well as getting them into tertiary education or apprenticeships after school.

Education is not free in Zimbabwe, as it is in many places in the world.  It is one of the only tools we have to break the cycle of poverty and repression in Zimbabwe. The trust believes it is their duty to support such an endeavour if they truly hope to improve the lives of Zimbabweans in general.

Should you wish to help, donate or learn more about the Victoria Falls Children’s Trust please get in touch with us at Book Vic Falls and we will happily share more details.

The Victoria Falls to Msuna Walk

For the 13th year running, a few adventurous souls, along with a bunch of volunteers, will walk 126 kilometers from Victoria Falls to Msuna on the top of lake Kariba to raise money for school fees for orphans and vulnerable children in Victoria Falls.
We have two departures this year:
July 14th to July 19th 2023 – Judy’s Msuna Walk:
5 nights, 6 days | 126 kms | (Full Moon – 17th July).
August 10th to August 15th 2023 – Zambezi Kid’s Walk:
5 nights, 6 days | 101 kms | (Full moon – 16th August).
With the impact of COVid 19 on the tourism industry and wider community the Victoria Falls Children’s Trust also distributes food hampers to assist the families that support our Trust children and help to cushion them through the difficult times.
Please support our worthy cause by donating. Every little bit counts!

The very first Msuna Walk was dreamt up and done by our dear friend Judy Cumming, we miss her and she will live on through this walk for a long time to come, thank you Judes.
